Off The Strip... New Genres Festival 2012 returns to the CAC

Off the Strip

Many have come, tried and failed, but none have survived as long as the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC). Since 1989 the CAC has brought some of the most innovative and interesting contemporary art shows to Las Vegas. So in keeping with this long standing tradition the Grand Dame of Las Vegas' art scene brings back the vaunted Off the Strip New Genres Festival. Begun in 2009 the festival features an amazing array of performance and video based art with an interactive Q & A  session with the participating artists. The event will take place over the next several days and culminate with a new genre exhibition on Thursday, September 6.
